Applications are invited for a full-time post, starting as soon as possible for one year in the first instance. The postholder will ensure that research work is published in a timely fashion in paper and online, and will proactively manage OPHI's website, building content and developing new e-learning aspects. The successful applicant will be expected to oversee the communication aspects of all OPHI events, play a role in nurturing relationships, and represent OPHI in some events.
Applicants must have extensive experience in publications and editing, and experience of updating and maintaining the content of a website. Also essential are excellent writing skills, proven organisational skills, and ability to function effectively in a team environment. An understanding of or an interest in development and poverty is fundamentally important. Some experience of media and public relations is desirable.
