Job Summary: The Student Recruitment and Admissions Service provides advice and information to prospective students, their parents, careers advisors and teachers, and University staff. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and innovative individual to join our team to contribute to the University's international recruitment activities in North and South America with the aim of increasing the number of international students recruited to the University and improving conversion of applicants to registered students at undergraduate, postgraduate and study abroad level. You will be educated to degree level, with relevant experience of working within a marketing or student recruitment environment. As this post will require close liaison with a variety of individuals, including representatives of external organisations, University staff and students, excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
Should you require a visa to undertake paid employment in the UK you will be required to fulfil the minimum points criteria to be granted a Certificate of Sponsorship and Tier 2 visa. As appropriate, at the time an offer of appointment is made you will be asked to demonstrate that you fulfil the criteria in respect of financial maintenance and competency in English. Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 5 scale (£25,251 - £28,401 per annum) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
