£31,145 - £38,249 per annum
Why choose us? University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.
Every position within the University plays an important part in shaping future creative professionals, and impacts on the future of so many creative industries. You will get to be a part of this future by transferring your specialist knowledge on to other keen creatives whilst developing your own skills.
The role Due to a recent re-organisation of Student Administration, we are looking to recruit two new Student Administration Co-ordinators: one based at the Chelsea College of Art and Design, and one at Wimbledon College of Art. Both roles represent an excellent opportunity to gain management experience in a busy, creative environment.
You will be in charge of a team of Student Administrators, tasked with providing administrative support for a portfolio of courses. Together, you will efficiently organise admissions, exam boards, enrolment and attendance monitoring, liaising with Programme Directors and Programme Lead Administrators as necessary. You will also have the added challenge of adapting your team to a new Academic Registry structure which is due to be put in place this summer.
Your profile Having worked in Higher Education administration before, you will understand the administrative processes involved. Admissions experience would definitely be an advantage, but the ability to organise resources and meet deadlines is more important. You will have completed a degree or equivalent qualification and have the organisational skills to juggle conflicting priorities. If you have the expertise we are looking for and feel you are ready for a management role, we would definitely like to hear from you.
