York Sport Village opens in August 2012 and will provide first class sport, health and fitness facilities. The first phase of the £9m Sport Village will feature: a competition-standard eight lane 25m pool and learner pool; Full size 3G Astroturf pitch and three further 5-a-side pitches; a 120-station fitness suite with integrated TVs; Air conditioned studios for classes such as spinning and yoga; Spa facilities, including sauna and steam rooms.
