Salary: £37,012 to £44,166 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Applicants are invited for the position of CIS/MIS Project Manager in the Department of Information Services and Systems, reference SD00018.
The postholder will manage multiple concurrent projects and will be responsible for gathering requirements, project planning, monitoring, management and delivery as well as more general tasks including presenting outcomes and findings to stakeholders, general administration and project communication.
The postholder will be expected to manage these projects within agreed budgets and to achieve the objectives and deliverables of each project. The Project Manager will be responsible for writing project documentation and reporting internally and externally to the project sponsors and funders, and will be expected to report to project monitoring meetings.
The postholder will be responsible for the co-ordination and completion of their projects and to this end will perform a variety of tasks, sometimes within tight project deadlines. Project managers need to be able to adapt to changing demands and conditions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of successful project implementation including staff management. The ability to demonstrate extensive experience in configuring MIS systems including: Finance, HR, Payroll and other similar systems will be essential for this role.
