Salary from £37,012 to £49,689 a year

The College of Arts and Law comprises six Schools- Birmingham Law School; Institute of Archeology and Antiquity together with the Schools of History and Cultures; Languages, Cultures, Art History and Music; English, Drama and American Canadian Studies and Philosophy Theology and Religion.

The six Schools collectively offer a large and diverse set of successful undergraduate and  postgraduate programmes. The College of Arts and Law is the second largest college on campus in terms of student numbers with over 5000 undergraduates and 1000 postgraduates.

This role will have responsibility across the College for Postgraduate administration and provide professional support to the Head of Birmingham Law School.

Birmingham Law School has 40 academic staff and is responsible for 900 undergraduates and 170 postgraduates.

There are a number of developments being undertaken or in the planning stage regarding postgraduate education and the Operations Manager for Postgraduate Education will work closely with the Director of the College Graduate School and senior members of the College and University in developing and implementing these initiatives.

Knowledge of Higher Education environment and its business requirements and experience of translating strategy into operational plans and implementing and managing change are required.
