We are looking for a Director who can lead and deliver the University's enterprise strategy, grow the University's enterprise activities and income, and champion the University's enterprise activities both internally and externally. This is an excellent opportunity to take forward the development of enterprise within the University and to promote the opportunities the University can offer to industry, business and the public sector internationally.
Key requirements will be:
- Track record of engaging senior figures from industry, business and the public sector
- Successful leadership of high performing teams
- Experienced in practice and processes of technology commercialisation and knowledge exchange, arising from research
- Comprehensive understanding of challenges facing the Higher Education and Enterprise Support communities
- Well established network of key stakeholders across the knowledge transfer sector
- Track record of developing and writing substantial bids across academic and business sectors
