IT Security Analyst (Operations)

Salary from £26,779 to £31,020 per annum with further progression opportunities to £33,884

You will have considerable experience of implementation and operational management of corporate IT Security policies and procedures.

You will have a proven record of the day to day implementation and auditing of security policies including risk identification, classification and mitigation, disaster recovery planning and ensuring standards are maintained. You will ensure all production systems are assessed for security risks and ensure plans are in place and implemented to reduce risks where possible.

You should be able to demonstrate best practise understanding of security related standards such as ISO27001, COBIT and ITIL2/3. You should be familiar with tools to assess system vulnerabilities and be able to categorise and prioritise mitigation activities

You will work well under pressure when required and be flexible / adaptable to changing business needs. You will be expected to contribute to maintaining systems to a high standard. You will have substantial experience of working in a customer focused environment and providing excellent customer support and ideally hold an ITIL v2 or 3 certification. An understanding of project and IT governance frameworks such as PRINCE2 COBIT  is also desirable.
