Full Time : The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £25,927 - £30,384 per  annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative assistance and support to the Division in the areas of Finance, procurement, general administration. Accountabilities and tasks will be determined by the focus of that Administrative Team Leader.
 
The Inf or mation Services Division (ISD), comprising 280 staff, exists to supp or t and enhance learning, teaching, research and associated administrative processes at UCL, and to contribute to the development of UCL policy in these areas.
 
ISD provides a wide range of inf or mation and technology related services to the University these are divided between three main areas of activity: i) shared services groups ii) customer facing groups and, finally, iii) two groups focussed on delivering w or ld class IT support for Research and for Teaching Learning.
  
This is a fixed term post covering maternity leave for 12 months.

The successful candidate will have experience of following administrative procedures, processes and instructions and of providing advice to others on how they should be applied, a meticulous degree of accuracy and attention to detail, planning, or ganisation and communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise own workload, and excellent interpersonal skills, confidence and a professional style.
 
It is desirable for the successful candidate to hold a professional qualification in finance.
