The company 
Established in London in 1976 as a private training provider, BPP recently became the only private sector company in the UK to achieve university college status. We are looking to fill a Managing Director role on a full time, permanent basis at our centre in Birmingham.

The role
The Centre MD's role is to ensure the successful and sustainable growth of their product centre through the delivery of top quality service to our students and clients. As MD you will be responsible for increasing market share in existing products, expanding the product offering and ensuring the centre is marketed effectively locally. 

Duties will include revenue growth, writing a five year business plan, Business Development activity, client relationship management and formulating and executing marketing plans.  In addition you will be responsible for local Health and Safety, maintenance of the centre's facilities and local Business Continuity Plan, Faculty KPIs and centre administration.

What we're looking for
You will have a commercial orientation, have commercial experience and analytical skills, and be driven to manage a business, delivering revenue growth and cost control.  You will ideally have experience in the production of commercial business plans and of rolling out new programmes/products.  You will have experience of managing staff and leading and implementing change, and be articulate and confident in presenting to different audiences.

Previous involvement in running a service delivery centre would be highly desirable, as would previous involvement in facilities maintenance/upgrades.
