INASP is a highly recognised, international charity that supports and develops global research communications through innovation, networking, capacity building and advocacy. Working with 23 partner countries and 80 network countries, INASP adopts a systematic and holistic approach to research knowledge systems, recognising that for research to contribute to sustainable development, it needs to be available, accessible and actively used.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead INASP, a widely respected and successful charity in the Knowledge for Development sector. Working closely with Board, staff and a wide range of stakeholders, the Executive Director is responsible for developing and implementing our vision for the future and promoting a culture of impact, learning and innovation. You will inspire, motivate and develop a committed staff team and will shape development of strategic objectives, taking responsibility for increasing funding from governments, NGOs, philanthropic foundations and corporate sources. As our foremost ambassador, you will ensure INASP is represented positively and visibly in all relevant forums and that the impact of our work is clearly communicated to stakeholders and partners.

Already working in a senior role, you are a proven leader with successful people management experience. An excellent communicator with the strong financial acumen and decision-making skills essential to lead a growing, ambitious charity with a significant global reach, you can demonstrate a significant track record of identifying and securing funding opportunities from a diverse range of sources and have in-depth international development and programme knowledge, with a commitment to collaborative working.
