The Department of Politics, Philosophy Religion and the School of Law are vibrant, international departments based in the thriving Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Lancaster University.
As a Distance Learning Developer within these departments, you will be responsible for the development and support of three new Distance Learning MA programs (Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, Diplomacy and Religion and Diplomacy and International Law) run by PPR and the Law School and the creation of a Distance Learning PhD program in PPR. You are expected to have a good knowledge of and experience with distance learning technologies (particularly Moodle) and the development of distance learning MA and PhD programs. You must be willing to work with academics and students who have limited experience with distance learning programs. A willingness to keep up-to-date with new distance learning technologies and excellent verbal and written skills are also essential.
This post is part time (0.5FTE), and is fixed term for 24 months.
