Salary: £25,251 to £29,249 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity to join a talented and friendly group of software engineers.
You will be an ambitious graduate in Computer Science or related discipline, or a software engineer with two years work experience, enthusiastic about helping develop these services even further and contributing to project activity. You will have knowledge and some experience of web application development. Essential skills will include an object orientated programming language (e.g. Java), and a common database server (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, Solr, Lucene). Knowledge of any of Unix, Perl, web services (e.g. SRU, OAI-PMH, Z39.50), or repository software (eg DSpace, Eprints) would be an advantage, being used in our services.
