Appointment of Director of Research and Enterprise

The recent success by SGUL in MRC grant applications demonstrates the strength and quality of its research.

St. George's is now seeking a dynamic senior manager and leader to develop a bold and innovative approach to the management and leadership of Research and Enterprise Services across the University and NHS Trust. The post holder will need to be able to rapidly develop strong credibility and gain the respect of key staff across the University and St George's NHS Trust. Research and Enterprise Services plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of research, enterprise and knowledge exchange activities.

The successful candidate will possess a current and comprehensive understanding of the external context and key policy considerations within research and enterprise in a HE or NHS environment. They should be well versed in the requirements and operation of the Research Excellence Framework, NHS Clinical Governance and Study Sponsorship alongside significant experience within a similar senior strategic role within Research and/or Enterprise.
