The University Of Manchester has invested in enterprise systems including Oracle Financials, Oracle CRM, NorthgateArinso ResourceLink HR. It spends a considerable amount of time and resource in testing new releases of this software to ensure that they are fit for purpose. Such testing involves colleagues from all aspects of the business and the amount of testing required is increasing over time as new functions are deployed. 

The University now wishes to appoint a Project/Testing Manager who can coordinate the approach to testing and ensure that we achieve the most cost effective results. The successful candidate will have experience of Oracle Financials and be well versed in the management of testing large scale applications and the use of test management tools, such as Oracle Applications Testing Suite. The first focus of the role will be to manage the testing of a major project to upgrade Oracle Financials from Release 11i to Release 12.1.3. Ultimately it will involve all the applications mentioned, and others.

Training will be provided where needed and the successful candidate will have the opportunity of working with major business applications and technologies in an exacting but exciting environment.
