Would you like to contribute in a key role in the development of the Open University's Library systems, services and products to support all its business processes for both customers and Library staff? You will be managing and supporting the core Library systems, and provide technical input to projects and service developments, in particular maintaining and developing new services for the Library website and other internal systems.

You will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in Librarianship, Information Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. You will have working experience of maintaining and supporting library systems such as library management system, open url resolver and resources discovery systems. You will also have experience of development with one or more web scripting languages such as Perl or PHP. You must have experience of working with relational databases. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will also be a good team player.
