Salary from £27,578 to £38,140 a year
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic person to support the development of a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) of the health and well-being of the population of Worcestershire on behalf of the Country Council and NHS Worcestershire. The post holder will be based at Worcestershire Country Council Headquarters (near Junction 6 of M5) for four days per week.
Additionally, the post holder will facilitate the implementation of a public health knowledge exchange partnership between Worcestershire and University of Birmingham through the NIHR CLAHRC for Birmingham and Black Country's (CLAHRC-BBC) research programme (www.clahrc-bbc.nihr.ac.uk). The post holder will be based at CLAHRC-BBC offices at the University of Birmingham (Edgbaston) for one day per week.
The post holder will support the JNSA Lead (grade 9 post also being advertised) in the delivery of the two main job description objectives listed above. You will have a good first degree in a related field, at least three years experience of working in health related field with some previous experience of conducting systematic reviews and critical appraisal of the literature. You will have excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a number of organisations. You will be able to work flexibly and have the ability to travel across the collaborating organisations.
