Position Summary:
The Trader is at the forefront of the fund's investment process, and executing trades using the firm's cutting edge investment strategy will give you invaluable experience trading across asset classes. It will be your responsibility to recognize, highlight and improve the firm's trade processes, thus providing key contributions to the firm's investment machine.

New Traders will typically initially focus on one asset class, gaining an in-depth understanding of trade execution within that class in their first 6-8 months. More experienced traders will be charged with optimizing and implementing new trading strategies firm-wide.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform error-free trades within a unique, systematic framework
Recognize, highlight and improve the process of trade implementation
Identify and flag unexpected market behavior and events that effect decisions within the trading framework
Perform strategic projects under the guidance of the Asset Class Leader
Provide mentorship and training to new traders

Position Requirements:
A strong academic record from a competitive school
Ability to execute tasks quickly, diligently and precisely
Experience with trade execution and transaction cost analysis preferred
Outstanding judgment and logic in mission-critical, time sensitive environments; ability to perceive risks and make decisions quickly
Ownership mentality
Technical skills (e.g. strong Excel and VBA skills)
