Job Summary
Performs financial calculations and provides summary of data to create various reports, charts, and presentations relevant to the organization's finance function. Monitors and analyzes business trends and forecasts for both the organization and its competitors using publicly available data. Provides financial data to organization's management, corporate functions, and auditors. Assists with operating and strategic business decisions made based on information and analysis provided. Assures quality of data provided to affect positive managing decisions. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs various financial calculations, including rate of return, budgeting, depreciation, working capital, PL, investment, and other financial and expense performance comparisons.
Creates specified ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts of financial data.
Models and provides analysis for various financial conditions related to the organization's business operations. Performs month end closes, journal entries, conducts profit loss statement reviews; assists with analysis tied to business plan and conducts audits to reconcile cash, assets and process compliance.
Forecasts, analyzes, and provides summary of the organization's trends in sales, finance, and the general business conditions.
Provides financial information and support to the organization's management, corporate functions, and auditors.
Works with the organization's IT function to develop reporting and tracking systems to accurately compile and manage financial data.
Required Experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3-4 years experience in accounting or finance function.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of the financial calculations, reporting, and valuation methodologies.
Working understanding of computer application tools to perform financial calculations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel is required (30%)
