Responsibilities:
Junior accountant will help prepare payroll, accounts/payable and journal entries
Will assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets and financial analysis
Be responsible for daily sales reconciliations
Will assist in preparation of sales tax filings
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills Abilities:
Self-motivated with strong analytical and written / verbal skills
Strong conceptual/creative thinker with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Highly proficient in PC applications including Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of ADP Payroll is a plus
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, extremely proactive, excellent follow through, good analytical skills and the ability to multi-task and project manage a fast-paced production schedule.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience in spa, retail, or consumer products is preferred
