Job Description: FINRA Broker-Dealer, member of the New York Stock Exchange, looking for 1-2 licensed brokers for temporary positions (with the possibility for full-time employment). Brokers will be working in New York City exclusively on one of our most exciting deals, a domestic oil and gas drilling fund. Accredited investor and UHNW client base strongly encouraged. Experience in energy investments, oil and gas direct participation programs, alternative assets, retail private equity placements, limited partnerships, tax advantaged investments is highly preferred, but not necessarily required.
The following, however, are required:
Bachelor's degree
Series 7 and 63 licenses
Minimum 5 years experience in securities sales
Extensive accredited investor retail client base - must be able to show proof of ability to generate at least $2 million in illiquid alternative assets sales
Strong organizational , time management, and multi-tasking skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with other brokers.
Coachable, quick learner
Willing to start as soon as possible with no relocation
Compensation
Draw: Negotiable, depending on strength of candidate and book of business
Commission: 3.5-4% of sales
