New York-based middle-market private equity firm is seeking a bright, hard-working and motivated individual to join us as an intern. The type of people we like are the ones who aren't afraid to speak up, ask questions and take an active role in our business from day one. We can offer our interns senior team-member exposure and the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the private equity business including:
Drafting investment presentations and information memoranda;
Conducting industry research to support the deal team's transactions;
Managing and thinking of new ways to expand and improve our extensive database of intermediaries, investment bankers and MA professionals;
Uncovering and investigating potential investment opportunities;
Exposure to day-to-day operations of a dynamic private equity firm.
To be considered you must have:
1-3 years of Analyst-level experience in investment banking/capital markets/private equity/research OR working towards MBA, Masters in Finance, etc.
Experience with Capital IQ and other research platforms
Strong English, writing and MS Office skills
Immediate start; 4-5 days/week commitment required. The length of the internship can be decided based on mutual interest. This is an unpaid position.
