This position is the foundation of our research organization, and is focused entirely on researching specifically assigned individuals or subject matters using OSInt (open source intelligence) methods. A substantial portion of the research is financial, including financial statement analysis and valuations, as well as relationship identification. This role requires speed, precision, creative thinking, editorial capability, and the ability to teach others. Successful candidates for this position will take part in a rigorous training program.

Responsibilities:
Identify, analyse and profile persons of interest in the single family office space
Collecting and analyzing data on the family office industry
Write white papers and insight reports on single family offices
To be a thought leader in the single family office space
Identifying trends within the space
Working closely within our research and marketing departments for information share
Contribute to the research department braintrust, constantly searching for new and better research methods and techniques

Requirements:
Experience in single/multi family office environment and ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the single family office industry.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, statistics or other discipline that indicates strong analytical and writing capabilities
Work and/or education experience in applying asset valuation theory: equities, debt, real estate investments, valuation of private companies, options, hedge fund assets
Near native or native English reading and writing capability
Highly advantageous fluency in a Second language
Intermediate computer skills
Able to write and edit prose
Familiarly with university library research tools
Demonstrated tenacity/persistence, curiosity, sense of urgency, intellect, and creativity
Demonstrated ability to work well independently and in teams
Intermediate mathematical capability, including Statistics
Advanced knowledge and interest in financial markets
Familiarity with advanced finance instruments and vehicles, including derivatives and hedge funds, venture capital, and private equity
Advanced Excel capability, including demonstrated modelling work in a business or academic setting
