Accounting Management Solutions, Inc (AMS), the leading provider of outsourced financial and accounting consulting services in New England, is seeking financial consultants to join our growing practice.
We have an immediate need for a CFO and Controller with real estate experience in non-profit affordable housing development and property management.
Job Description:
Responsible for all CFO and Controller duties.
Handle all financial management functions
Prepare Annual Operating Budget
Formulate and implement internal fiscal control policies
Coordinate with property management staff for financial reporting including variance reports and actual vs. budget.
Oversee implementation of the Timberline system, including staff training and oversight of staff reporting
Review asset management reporting
Provide input to the development staff and consultants during the feasibility and development stages of new projects
Requirements:
An MBA or undergraduate degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of professional experience in real estate property management and affordable housing development
Big 4 Public Accounting background preferred.
CPA preferred.
Software proficiency in Excel and Timberline
