As a HR Business Partner (BP) you will have a key role In the Human Resources team. Acting as the interface between Colleges and Divisions and the Human Resources Division you will provide high quality, business focused and strategic level advice, guidance and support to the Head of College and their management team.
The HR BP is accountable to the Head of College and the Director of Human Resources for the following:
- Ensuring that their client group is provided with effective, accurate and timely HR Management Information to enable effective business decisions on staffing and management.
- Acting as an effective coach and guide to managers within the Clients' College or Division to assist and enable line mangers to understand the implications of issues and to make good quality decisions with regard to employment issues.
- Ensuring that the HR Division is provided with information on customer needs and issues to facilitate the provision effective and efficient central services to the Clients.
- Acting as an interface to broker centrally provided services from the HR Division to the Client and ensuring that the delivery of these services meets the needs of the Client.
- Participating in activities designed to improve HR Policies, Procedures and Practices (Centrally provided services will be HR Policy and Guidance Development, Recruitment, Reward, HR Administration, Management/Leadership Development and Job Grading and Evaluation).
- The effective management of an HR Administrator, or Administrators to ensure the effective delivery of transactional HR services to the Client in terms of the management and handling of Employee Relations, Discipline and Grievance cases.
