Profile: Accounting Team Leader

Your responsibilities will be diverse which will allow you to gain a complete understanding of our entire operation. You will work primarily with our Accounting Team, overseeing the day to day operations of the department and its talented team; you will also interact regularly with our Sales, Operations and Logistics Teams.

You will take on an integral role coordinating, organizing and streamlining the recurring operations in accounting while planning ahead with strategic initiatives and forecasting. Strong leadership and dedication will be key, due to the nature of our growing organization. You will primarily work from our Headquarters with occasional activities outside of the office.

Primary Mission:

Lead our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Teams from the front by emphasizing the importance of accuracy and accountability.
Maximize the potential of our organization by setting up and monitoring accounting metrics and dashboards.
Lead from the front with government and third party regulatory compliance
Build fellowship, collaborate and support our community and work with government agencies to build a brighter tomorrow for the world around us.
Support our internal and external customers via regular and recurring communication and reporting.
Contribute strong cross-functionality with the leadership team and all constituents based on honesty, integrity, strong communication and trust.
Train new hires and build the skill sets of existing co-workers by focusing on the Kaizen Philosophy of constant improvement
Contribute and build morale with a positive mindset and desire to seek positive results

The ideal candidate will possess:

~ Multi tasking skills to handle a variety of ongoing projects, Ability to work in a fast paced, think-tank, teamwork environment

~ Emphasis on teamwork support approach with the flexibility to handle different responsibilities and ability to adapt to changes within a growing company
~ Careful attention to detail and care with data entry (neat freaks welcome!)
~ Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills
~ A Passion for healthy, natural great tasting food

Requirements:
Bachelor's or higher Degree in Accounting or Finance
Two years or more of prior leadership experience managing a team of 5 of more.
Proactive, strong communicator and team player
Strong people skills
40+wpm keyboard skills
Highly skilled in Outlook and Excel with competence in Word and PowerPoint
Positive attitude and happy disposition -- grouches need not apply 
