Controller - Financial/Operations Principal (FINOP)
$95-120 + Bonus

One of our most prestigious investment conglomerates seeks (CPA a +; Series 27 a MUST) with 7 + years financial services: diverse accounting, analytical experience in a securities industry. Public accounting (BIG 4/private a +) experience auditing broker dealer or public/private broker dealer combo. Must have knowledge of securities products and broker dealer accounting, PL, preparing daily capital computation, financial statements and business processes. Must be knowledgeable with FINRA rules and regulations. Focus filings as well as diversified GAAP experience. Responsible for the day to day management, accounting finance operations, regulatory reporting/compliance, and commission processing. Also responsible for cash control, investments, revenue and expense analysis and regulatory reporting. Maintain internal controls, keep up with industry trends and act as troubleshooter and process improvements. Must be analytical thinker, multi-tasker, strong attention to deta il with effective oral and writing communications. MS Suite and QuickBooks.
