Role: Tracking and Trading Analyst
Summary:
The individual in this position will be part of the Tracking Trading team in the Independence group, and will be responsible for various research activities, some database management and work on special projects/assignments as needed. This individual will be required to run reports within the internal Tracking Trading System, review and assist internal users resolve issues in accordance with Firm policy. This role will require close interactions with other members of the team, as well as providing customer support on inquiries directed to the Independence, Ethics, and Compliance department relating the Tracking and Trading System.
Key Responsibilities
Run daily reports and data manipulation particularly within Excel, Access.
Perform various research activities on financial websites such as Edgar (SEC), FINRA, and Bloomberg, Google etc.
Provide customer support via written and/or verbal communications to various levels of the firm to include partners, principles, directors and managers.
Perform routine and special assignments and provide support to other team members and the team initiatives.
Provide support to Independence Compliance Help Desk.
Support management in executing and completing specified projects and handle on-going activities related to the Tracking Trading System
Qualifications include:
At least 1-2 years relevant experience from a large corporation or accounting firm in research, and database processing
Excellent research, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills - strong attention to detail
Solid verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Experience managing defined deadlines and prioritizing time required on activities
Customer service attitude and dedication to quality and accuracy
Experience working in an environment where priorities can quickly change
Demonstrated initiative and good judgment
Proven ability to upward manage involvement of leadership
Ability to effectively work independently, and as part of a team, in a dynamic work environment
Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
Understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms a plus
Proficient in standard office-productivity tools (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word) Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio a plus.
Knowledge of financial research tools such as stock exchanges, Bloomberg, Edgar (SEC), Dun Bradstreet, OneSource, Moody's and Thomson etc. is ideal.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Require BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
