New internet venture is looking to hire an individual to work part-time on Business Strategy/Development. Responsibilities will include working with senior team members on the evolving business model, building excel models, and developing presentations to effectively communicate the company's strategy, economic model and financing needs to investors. The ideal candidate would have some or all of the following attributes: an MBA or similar experience, a strong finance background, entrepreneurial experience (especially internet related) and an overall passion for building new businesses. (***Candidates may currently be in business school.)
The venture is a new, mobile/internet company targeting the late teen/early twenties demographic. Members of the senior team are successful media and technology executives. In addition, the company has a Board of Advisors made up of internet and venture capital executives.
The position will be part time (we estimate 5-10 hours per week), with compensation in equity and/or stock options through October 2012. Beyond that point, the position may evolve into a salaried, full time role.
