The Finance Department can currently offer a full time role for a Management Accountant. This position provides an opportunity to work in a forward thinking and dynamic environment. The University encourages and supports your future development.
The aim and objective of the role is to be responsible for and provide a service to an allocated part of the University and to support the Senior Management Accountant in providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient financial service to the University. The budgeting and forecasting culture is embedded into the current resource allocation model and the purpose of this role is to ensure it is successfully implemented and maintained.
The ideal candidate will have substantial management accounts experience and the ability to solve complex reporting issues using a combination of reporting tools. They will have excellent written and verbal communications skills to enable budget holder liaison and the provision of persuasive financial advice. The requirement to be outcome focused, enthusiastic and flexible is essential.
