Join Top Media Firm in Midtown! Managerial Role within the firms Finance Department. The Senior Account Representative is primarily responsible for providing analytical and statistical information surrounding subscription revenue of the firms affiliates.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide analytical and statistical information surrounding annual subscription revenue of assigned affiliates (including key accounts).
Interpret contractual provisions and implement terms in the billing system as well as set up accruals for proposed deals ensuring all information is current and accurate (e.g.,subs, rates, payments).
Perform monthly account analyses and reconciliations to identify and resolve issues with affiliates.
Establish audit scope of affiliates and work closely with affiliate and/or audit group to resolve outstanding issues.
Maintain and report monthly, quarterly and yearly comparative analysis/financial reporting for assigned affiliates which will allow for the examination of trends.
Active involvement in researching financial information/business needs.
Extensive contact with affiliate's financial management as well as interaction with Domestic Network Distribution, Finance Analysis and Legal personnel.
Lead or participate in special projects/task forces.
Requirements
BS/BA in Finance or Accounting; MBA in progress a plus.
Proven track record in supervisory experience
Minimum related work experience: 3+ years.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, journal entries), financial systems and reporting, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong work ethic, excellent analytical, organizational, communication, leadership
- Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 + Bonus
