Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Credit and Collection Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day processing of accounts receivable entries and adjustments; cash application, credit card settlement, and any needed adjustments to the aged trial balance. You also will assist in the month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, sales agent commission processing, and other AR related tasks. This position would ideally suit a recent business/ accounting graduate or one who has greater than 2 years of accounting experience. Job Requirements
Principal Duties Responsibilities:
Applies and reconciles daily cash receipts.
Reconciles A/R cash clearing ledger
Processes customer refund requests
Settles credit card payments. Maintains verification terminals and software
Assists in the reconciliation and settlement of inter co-accounts
Processes adjustments to sales agent commission accounts
Communicates with export dept. concerning order advance payment receipts
Maintains monthly deposit and cash receipts report
Identifies and helps facilitate the settlement of customer short payments
Prepares deposits for checks and cash received
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of accounting and general office procedures
Ability to research, analyze and make corrections to reconciliation issues
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong attention to detail is a must

Good communication skills as you will regularly speak with our international offices
