Established food and beverage company is positioned for growth and seeks an enthusiastic team player with a minimum of 5 years financial experience to be the new Senior Bookkeeper. This position will handle all of the company's finances and report directly to the CEO.
As Senior Bookkeeper, majority of your time will be spent processing the day to day of the company's financials. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monthly and weekly PL's
- Account reconciliations
- Cost analysis and other financial evaluation
- Assisting with payroll
- Invoicing A/R and A/P
- Credit card processing
- Working with our CPA, insurance broker, vendors, and Director of Operations to create an efficient, well-managed office
The candidate must be highly organized, proactive, take charge, and handle ad hoc projects with ease. QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel are a must. Experience in a multi-entity environment and inter-company transactions are a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in Accounting/Finance
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Experience coordinating and reporting on the financial activities of a company
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
