We are a small private equity real estate firm looking for an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to handle the day-to-day record keeping and accounting for our multiple investment entities.
This is a part-time, 1 to 2 day a week position at our offices in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, not far from Grand Central. Our firm was established in 2009 and has been continually expanding. The ideal candidate will have the ability to grow with us.
Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks is a requirement for this position. Candidates must have at least 5 or more years of bookkeeping or accounting expertise.
This position will oversee and handle all accounts payable, reconcile bank accounts, archive invoices, liaison with our banking representatives to wire money / open and close accounts, communicate with vendors, help generate financial reports from Quickbooks, and handle other various ad hoc office duties.
Real estate or partnership accounting expertise is helpful, but not necessary.
CPA or Certified Bookkeeper designation a plus, but is not required.
