Successful candidates should have:
CPA Preffered.
Accounting Degree Required.
Restaurant accounting experience necessary
3 years experience in accounting leadership role
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines completely
Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytic abilities
Strong problem solving skills
Knowledge of Compeat and Avero Slingshot Software a big plus
Knowledge of restaurant payroll, and payroll processing
Ability and willingness to influence and negotiate.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining all financial records for outside accounting firm
Creating financial statements, setting budgets, cash flow forecasts, variance reporting.
Financial reporting, tax planning, and cash flow management.
Establishing and maintaining systems and controls.
Oversee human resources, benefits, insurances, and vacations
Verifying the integrity of all systems, to enhance the company’s value.
This position will work directly with Ownership, and GM to keep Cost of Goods and
Labor within targeted percentages, and tighten up all other controllable expenses.
Candidate will be responsible for office and all relevant record keeping.
