High Value and Hospital Fundraising
Sitting within the High Value and Hospital Fundraising team, the post holder will be fundraising primarily for research into treatments for cancer, mental health, paediatrics and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. The Trusts and Foundation Officer is a key member of the High Value team. The aim of the post is to develop and manage a range of relationships with existing and potential benefactors to generate a significant income stream for King's Health Partners from charitable trusts and foundations who have the capacity to make grants up to and including £100,000.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience of working with trusts and foundations. The ideal candidate will need creativity and excellent written communication skills to effectively stimulate and engage with our target markets.
The post is based primarily at the Waterloo campus, however, the post holder may be asked to work at other College campuses/hospitals.
Details
The role holders main responsibilities will be:
- To engage mid-level charitable trusts and foundations with a view to developing new income streams as part of the College's second major fundraising campaign.
- To manage, evaluate and implement the Trusts and Foundations Programme within the High Value and Hospital Fundraising Team and work with the Head of High Value and Hospital Fundraising to modify and grow its strategic objectives appropriately within King's Health Partners.
- To write fundraising proposals to philanthropic trusts and foundations who have the capacity to make grants up to and including £100,000
- To generate income, both restricted and unrestricted, according to agreed targets.

Salary
The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications, within the Grade 5 scale, currently £26,004 to £30,122 per annum plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance.
