We seek candidates with a proven track record in the full range of Supply Chain activities including; COGS management, strategic sourcing, low cost sourcing, market analysis, supplier management and spend optimization.
Provide professional purchasing support to the financial controller and executive chef, and as such, handles complex or non-routing assignments and special projects which require in-depth analysis or purchasing actions which are normally outside the scope of work handled by unit level purchasing personnel or supervision.
Serves as project leader or advisor on special assignments dealing with major or complex issues related to either a local or nationwide purchasing matter.
JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
Prepare reports and summarize data including sales report.
Coordinate with Controller in all Cost of Goods Sold related issues
Involved in food and beverage cost of menu items
Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
Coordinate with Executive Chef, Corporate Chef and Unit Chefs and suppliers.
Support relevant departments: i.e. Finance, Accounting, IT.
Source, select and negotiate for the best price in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.
