Expanding Restaurant Company is looking for an individual to join the accounting department and be responsible for bookkeeping and accounting needs for their restaurants. This is a full time position. This individual will work directly with the owner, as well as the general managers of each restaurant. Individual must have over 3 years accounting experience and this experience MUST be in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Prepare weekly and monthly financial and operations reports to owners, general managers and chefs.
2. Generate financial reports for distribution to the owners and investors
3. Provide financial operational analysis of each restaurant
4. Special projects as needed.
5. Use QuickBooks on a daily basis
6. Bookkeeping services
7. Daily input of invoices, bills and manage all accounts payable.
8. Payroll- must have prior experience in preparing weekly payroll.
9. Advanced Computer literacy a plus.
Required Experience:
Must have least 3 years of experience doing accounting in the restaurant industry.
Must be knowledgeable of restaurants accounting and operations
Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel skills.
Excellent Quickbooks knowledge and skills
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
