Responsibilities
⢠Primary operations account manager for high profile Sony Music Entertainment digital service providers with a focus on non-traditional retail partners. Responsibilities include providing high quality day-to-day partner and client management as well as managing long-term requirements planning with the partners.
⢠Preparation and management of internal project tracking documents. Responsible for gathering requirements, tasks and milestone deadlines across SME business groups (IST and business development). Materials will be used to drive project progress, create partner agendas and provide visibility to key business stakeholders.
⢠Creation and management of partner best practices and standard operating procedure documents.
⢠Lead account manager for non retail feeds project. Serve as the subject matter expert for the project and drive requirements on behalf of account management.
⢠Data analysis, research and re porting on SME versus partner catalog clearance and asset rights. Reports used to troubleshoot and resolve issues that prevent successful monetization or blocking of SME catalog.
Day to day duties
⢠Work closely with key digital partners to ensure digital supply chain is operating smoothly and business goals are being met
⢠Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that require an in-depth knowledge of fingerprinting and user generated content services
⢠Reporting to key stakeholders on partner operations including Sony Music Labels and Digital Operations Senior Management
⢠Driving process improvements to overall digital supply chain
⢠Deliver informative, well-organized presentations
⢠Resolve and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
⢠Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Requirements
⢠Undergraduate degree preferred
⢠Candidate must have at least 3-5 years experience in the digital supply chain area
⢠Experience working with or for non-traditional digital retail partners a plus
⢠Experience managing one or more direct reports a plus
⢠Ability to handle many complex and time-sensitive projects simultaneously
⢠Must work well under deadline pressure; detailed-oriented, adaptable and accepting of abrupt change and unforeseen challenges
⢠Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
⢠Ability to drive projects from initiation to completion independently
⢠Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
