Midtown Manhattan real estate property management firm and Manufacturing Company seek a full-time or part-time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. Must be VERY RELIABLE and DEDICATED, friendly and extremely neat and organized, not lazy; and a great personality
Responsibilities Include:
Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
Entering of all financial transactions into QuickBooks
Payroll Processing (ADP)
Preparation of various reports using QuickBooks
Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
Communicating with vendors/clients as to billing matters
Working with outside accountants for company's ' tax matters and returns
Working directly with the owner to ensure smooth functioning of daily operations
Various administrative tasks including filing, ordering supplies, typing leases , composing and typing letters professional letters
Requirements:
At least 3 years of solid Bookkeeping experience (degree in Accounting preferred)
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Pro (all candidates will be tested)
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
Prior bookkeeping experience in commercial real estate is a big plus
Must be able to work independently
