The role: Controller Consultant:

Direct Agents is looking for a Controller Consultant to assist the accounting and financial team with a variety of high level financial tasks. The position will be expected to work approximately once a week, and be able to work 3-4 days a week during the last week or first week of the month.

Responsibilities:

Approve accounts payable and make payments
Monthly cost management and analysis
Oversee billing and collections
Compile monthly and quarterly financial statements
Cash Management

Requirements:

Advanced Accounting Degree
5+ years of sr. accounting experience
Strong understanding of advanced accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
Must be expert in QuickBooks
Understanding of GAAP financials
Experience working with an outside audit firm
Experience with multicurrency, international accounting
Experience working for a digital media company is a plus
Self-starter with positive attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Problem solver and highly analytical
