Job Purpose:
Administer all facets of payroll for non-exempt, exempt and partnership distributions.
Duties:
- Process and ensure that all withholdings are accurate -- taxes, healthcare, garnishments, 401K deductions etc.
- Review taxes and ensure compliance with state and feral laws.
- Manage all payroll interfaces, calculate and reconcile payroll information, General Ledger.
- Update records by reviewing and entering changes in exemptions, insurance changes, deductions, paid-time not worked, status, and pay; calculating vacation earned.
- Balance payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies; initiating journal entries.
- Fulfill wage garnishment requirements by completing forms; adjusting payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholding.
- Remit tax payments by collecting and verifying data; preparing federal, state, and local tax reports, and w2 statements; initiating payment.
- Run payroll and ad hoc reports
- Interface with HR team members, communicate payroll information to employees and answer employee's inquiries.
